At some AFIS fields, the station may provide a runway change or additional information. Always readback the new information completely and accurately.

Runway Change Before Departure

POSITION: Holding point

ACTION: Receives runway change

PILOT: Chambéry Radio, F-ABCD, holding point runway 22, ready for departure.

RADIO: F-ABCD, wind 200 degrees 6 knots, shift to runway 20, take off at own discretion.

PILOT: Wind 200 degrees 6 knots, runway 20, take off at own discretion, F-ABCD.

Do not fly the original runway if you receive a runway change. Always acknowledge the change and shift to the new runway before departing.
