"PAN-PAN, PAN-PAN, PAN-PAN. Geneva Approach, F-ABCD, Cessna 172, electrical system failure, battery only, all avionics intermittent, requesting descent to Flight Level 60 and vectors to nearest aerodrome with full services. Position currently 20 DME northwest of Geneva, Flight Level 120."

ATC will prioritize your handling but will not necessarily activate rescue services. You will be given a vector to a suitable aerodrome and landing instructions. ATC may also request additional information about your aircraft condition or number of people on board.
