Subchapter 10.1 – Scenario Overview and Flight Planning

This lection presents a complete, continuous IFR flight from Salzburg (Austria) to Munich (Germany). The route covers every phase of IFR flight: pre-departure planning, ATIS check, IFR clearance, ground operations, departure with SID, en-route segment, approach clearance, approach execution, landing, and ground shutdown.

The flight scenario is realistic and based on actual European ATS operations. Every radio call follows ICAO/EASA phraseology rules and includes procedure words, readback rules, and the kinds of clearances you will encounter in your practical flying or ECQB examination.
