Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

If you are a consumer (i.e., a natural person who uses the service for purposes that are outside your trade, business, or profession), you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

However, this right may expire early in the case of digital content, as explained below.

Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to § 356 (5) BGB (German Civil Code), your right of withdrawal expires once the performance of the contract has begun, provided that:

• You have expressly consented to us beginning the execution of the contract before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and
• You have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal as soon as the contract performance begins.

We obtain this confirmation during the checkout process via a mandatory checkbox.
