Subchapter 10.4 – Approach and Arrival

The landing aircraft ahead clears the runway. Tower now issues your landing clearance.

Analysis: Landing clearance is issued in the simplest form: "cleared to land" with the runway. You read back "cleared to land" and the runway.

You now continue your descent, cross the runway threshold, and land the aircraft smoothly on runway 08 right. You touch down, reverse, and exit the runway at taxiway Charlie.
