Aero-Club Gelnhausen e.V.<\/b> is a well-established aviation club located at the public airfield in Gelnhausen, Hessen, Germany, founded in 1950. As one of the largest air sports clubs in Hessen with around 550 members, it offers comprehensive flight opportunities including motor flying, ultralight, motor gliders, and gliders.
The club operates as a registered non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of air sports. It runs an EASA-approved flight school providing training for various licenses such as LAPL (A), PPL (A), ultralight (UL), and sailplane (SPL) including night VFR and flight instructor courses.
The club has a diverse fleet of 16 club-owned aircraft and about 47 privately operated member aircraft covering motor planes, ultralights, motor gliders, and gliders. This variety supports practical and versatile pilot training from beginner to advanced levels.
