The Badisch-Pfälzischer Flugsportverein e. V. (BPFV) is an established flying club, flight school, and aircraft charter service located at City Airport Mannheim (ICAO: EDFM), Germany. With a history spanning over 90 years, BPFV offers professional pilot training focused on PPL (A) and LAPL (A) licenses with flexible scheduling and ongoing theoretical instruction twice weekly. Students benefit from training at a busy commercial airport, gaining real-world experience in controlled airspace. The modern fleet includes two brand-new Tecnam P2008 JC MKII aircraft equipped with Garmin G3X glass cockpits and three Diamond DA40 aircraft with IFR certification and night flying capability. Aircraft are available for charter exclusively to club members. BPFV fosters a supportive community for aviation enthusiasts and student pilots. The club emphasizes high standards in radio communication training, critical for safe and efficient air traffic integration.
