C&L Systeme LFDU

Located at the eastern outskirts of Gera in East Thuringia, Germany, Flugplatz Gera-Leumnitz is a public regional airfield with a 915-meter asphalt runway suitable for aircraft up to 14 tons maximum takeoff weight. It supports commercial and general aviation activities and is open daily. The airfield offers scenic round flights, balloon rides, and parachuting experiences, making it a versatile destination for aviation enthusiasts and tourists.

On-site, C&L Systeme LFDU operates a flight school with a fleet including Cessna 172 and Zlin 226T aircraft, offering pilot training programs such as Light Aircraft Pilot License (PPL)-(A), night flight, ultralight, glider, and balloon flight training. The facility is not a flying club but runs its own flight school, without independent radio communication training or aviation equipment sales.
