C&L Systeme LFDU

Flugplatz Gera-Leumnitz is a regional public airfield situated at the eastern outskirts of Gera, East Thuringia, Germany. It features a 915-meter asphalt runway suitable for aircraft up to 14 tons maximum takeoff weight. The airfield operates daily and serves both commercial aviation and general aviation sports activities.

The site offers scenic round flights, balloon rides, parachuting experiences, gastronomy, and accommodation services, making it engaging for aviation enthusiasts and tourists alike.

For pilots, the airfield provides important services like fuel supply, operational procedures, and access to flight information. The resident operator C&L Systeme LFDU runs a fleet including Cessna 172 and Zlin 226T aircraft and provides pilot training programs, notably PPL (A) and night flight certifications. Additional ultralight, glider, and balloon flight training are available through other affiliated schools.

The airfield is not a flying club and does not independently operate its own flight school or radio communication training, nor does it sell aviation equipment.
