Dithmarscher Luftsportverein e.V. is a German flying club based at the picturesque St. Michaelisdonn airfield (ICAO: EDXM) in northern Germany. It operates a modern fleet of motor aircraft, including Diamond DA40, Katana DV20, Diamond DA20, Cessna 150, and Piper PA28, as well as gliders such as Schleicher ASK-23, Grob G 102 ASTIR CS, Schleicher ASW-19, Schleicher ASK 21, and Schempp-Hirth Duo Discus. The club offers comprehensive pilot training programs, including LAPL-A and PPL-A licenses, with experienced instructors. Training also includes night VFR, ICAO language proficiency, and radio communication licenses BZF I and II. Situated on a 40-meter-high ridge, the airfield is operated by the club and provides visitor services including fuel and local flight guidance.
