Flugschule Geisenfelder in Augsburg is a well-established Authorised Training Organisation (ATO) providing pilot training since 1984 at Augsburg Airport (ICAO: EDMA). It offers a comprehensive range of flight licenses and training, including PPL (A), LAPL (A), aerobatic, night flight, re-training, refresher training, and practice flights. Special courses such as Language Proficiency Checks (Level 4) and alpine instruction are available, as well as helicopter flights and mediation of commercial sightseeing flights.
The school emphasizes flight safety supported by a Safety Management System (SMS) and employs experienced flight instructors. Fuel surcharges are applied due to increasing prices. The school holds certification from the Southern Bavaria Aviation Authority (DE.BY.ATO.013) and conducts competency checks with its own examiners.
