Flugsportzentrum Tirol operates the Flugschule-Tirol, an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) at Innsbruck Airport (LOWI), Austria. The school offers a comprehensive range of pilot training programs including Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License practical training (CPL), Night Visual Flight Rules (NVFR), Instrument Ratings for single and multi-engine aircraft, Aircraft Class Ratings (TMG, SEP, MEP), Aerobatics, Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (A-UPRT), Towing Flight, Flight Instructor courses, refresher courses for VFR & IFR, and Radio Communication licenses (BFZ, EFZ, AFZ). Language Proficiency testing at Level 4-6 and Airline Screening Preparation are also provided using advanced simulators DA42/G1000 and DA40/G1000.
The school features a modern fleet of 14 aircraft, including Aquila A211/212T, Diamond Star DA40, Diamond TwinStar DA42, Super Dimona motor glider, Piper PA46T turbine aircraft, Extra 200 aerobatic plane, and Dynamic WT9 light sport aircraft. Training is conducted mostly by professional flight instructors with commercial experience in modern facilities on the north side of Innsbruck Airport. Membership in the Flugsportzentrum Tirol club is required for training participation.
