Hanseatischer Fliegerclub Berlin e.V. is an aviation club linked to Deutsche Lufthansa AG, open to all aviation enthusiasts beyond just Lufthansa employees. The club offers professional flight training with experienced instructors including airline pilots, emphasizing practical and theoretical knowledge.
The club provides affordable training for Private Pilot License (PPL-A), optional night flying qualifications (NVFR), and cost-effective single-engine aircraft charter opportunities. It also serves as a community for pilots of all ages to share their passion for flying throughout the year and enhance their flying skills.
Members benefit from regular club meetings with flight-related presentations, online radio communication courses, annual check flights, regular trainings, alpine introductions, participation in flight rallies, Cessna meetings and other fly-ins, as well as joint flying camps. Social activities beyond flying include canoeing tours, barbecue evenings at the clubhouse, and the annual club Christmas party.
Emphasizing flight experience for flight safety, the club provides a platform for members to accumulate flying hours year-round and offers an internal flight exchange for organizing flights outside club meetings according to members' preferences.
