UL Verein Saar-Pfalz e.V. is an ultralight flying club based at Flugplatz Pirmasens (EDRP) in southwestern Germany. Founded in 1983, it is a hub for ultralight aviation with over 140 active members. The club promotes ultralight flying and offers full training leading to the SPL-F Sport Pilot License, including theoretical and practical training on 3-axis ultralight aircraft such as the FK9 and C42. Training and trial flights are available year-round, with theoretical courses mostly in winter and spring. The club provides cost-effective access to ultralight flying with own fleet aircraft and organizes a lively association life including regular events and member facilities. The club operates from the flight base at Flugplatz Pottschütthöhe in Battweiler, Germany.
