Brief description Ul Verein Saar-Pfalz E.v.
UL Verein Saar-Pfalz e.V.<\/b> is a well-established ultralight flying club based at Flugplatz Pirmasens (EDRP) in southwestern Germany. Founded in 1983, it has over 140 active members and serves as a hub for ultralight aviation in the region. The club operates from the Pottsch fctth f6he airfield and holds a share in the non-profit airfield operator consortium. The club offers comprehensive flight training programs for obtaining the SPL-F sport pilot license for aerodynamically controlled ultralight aircraft, including both theoretical lessons and practical training on 3-axis ultralight aircraft models such as FK9 and C42. Training for the 120 kg class ultralight aircraft is also available. Additionally, the club regularly conducts courses for the BZF 1 international radio communication license. Members benefit from cost-effective hangar space rental, an active social club life with regular meetings, and a favorable base for exploring the scenic southwestern German countryside by ultralight aircraft. Trial flights are available for non-members to experience ultralight flying firsthand.
