Winch launch failure

The cable breaks with the nose high in the air. Push the nose down at once, wait for the speed, release twice, then decide calmly: land ahead, a short circuit or a full one.

What you learn

• Name the four phases of a winch launch
• React to a break: nose down, wait for speed, release twice
• Choose land ahead, a short circuit or a full circuit
• Avoid the fatal mistake: a low turn without speed
