Circuit, landing and vacating

You have joined the circuit. You follow the calls from downwind to leaving the runway: circuit reports, orbits and an extended downwind, the landing clearance, continue approach and vacating.

What you learn

• Report downwind, base and final, callsign first
• Fly an orbit or extend downwind when Tower asks
• Read back the landing clearance with the runway
• Tell continue approach from a landing clearance
• Report runway vacated once past the holding point
