Aviation for beginners
Aviation from zero, in short videos.
Description
A video course for anyone who has never flown: 12 lessons and 48 short animated videos follow one flight from Frankfurt to London. Every video explains its words before it uses them, from what flies and how, through airports, the radio, weather and rules, to instruments, licences and the human side.
The radio basics the VFR and IFR courses build on are here: the alphabet, numbers, standard words, weather words and airspace classes. The first video is free. Narration is in English, with captions in up to 10 languages.
