Description
A video course for glider pilots and everyone who wants to understand soaring: 10 lessons and 34 short animated videos. It starts at zero, with what gliding is and why a glider glides, and builds up step by step: thermals and the variometer, the polar curve, ridge and mountain soaring, the first cross-country, speed to fly, smart instruments, wave, competition tasks, and launch and landing emergencies.
Every number comes from one real glider, an LS8, so the videos agree with each other and with your glide computer. The first video is free. Narration is in English, with captions in up to 10 languages.
