DFS Fliegerclub e.V.

DFS Fliegerclub e.V., based at Egelsbach Airport (EDFE) in Germany, is an aviation club founded in 1966 welcoming both licensed and aspiring pilots from diverse backgrounds, not limited to DFS employees. The club operates a balanced fleet of classic single-engine piston aircraft including Cessna 172 variants and Piper P28 models along with the Diamond Katana DV20. All aircraft are regularly maintained to ensure safety.

The club offers comprehensive pilot training programs such as LAPL, PPL, Instrument Rating (IR), CPL, and Night VFR with a focus on professionalism and flight safety. Training combines theoretical and practical instruction adjustable to individual schedules. Instrument flight training (IFR) is available in cooperation with an external instrument flight school using club aircraft.
