The Frankfurter Verein für Luftfahrt von 1908 e.V. is Germany's oldest club flight school located at Egelsbach Airport near Frankfurt am Main, with over 100 years of motor flight history. It stands as one of the largest club flight schools in Germany, offering comprehensive pilot training programs including Private Pilot License (PPL), Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL), and Night Visual Flight Rules (Night VFR) training. The training encompasses theoretical lessons in aerodynamics, navigation, meteorology, and technical knowledge combined with practical flying skills. Mandatory radio communication training is included for safe flight operations. The club operates a well-maintained fleet featuring aircraft such as Piper PA 28-181 Archer III and II, multiple models of Cessna 172 and Cessna 150L, and Diamond DA20.
