Diamond Sportfliegerclub (DFC) is an Austrian aviation club based at the Dexe Flightcenter at Wiener Neustadt Ost Airport (LOAN). Founded in 1988, the club offers a modern environment for aviation enthusiasts with a fleet including Katana DV20, Katana DA20, Diamond DA40 TDi, and Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft. Its home base is located at Wiener Neustadt, with aircraft housed in a modern hangar featuring an electric turntable for easy handling.
DFC operates its own flight school providing pilot training for Private Pilot License (PPL), Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL), and Night Visual Flight Rules (NVFR) rating. Training is flexible, with theoretical courses mainly in the evenings and weekends and practical flying arranged directly with experienced instructors.
Members can book aircraft online, accessing important flight documents. Fuel costs are included in flight fees; landing fees must be paid by pilots themselves.
The club fosters community through monthly club evenings with lectures or flight reports and offers a fan shop. It shares local aviation news and organizes events, creating a practical and engaging environment for pursuing flying dreams in Austria.
