Diamond Sportfliegerclub (DFC) is an Austrian aviation club located at the Dexe Flightcenter on Wiener Neustadt Ost Airport (LOAN). Founded in 1988, the club offers a modern fleet including Katana DV20, Katana DA20, Diamond DA40 TDi 155PS, and Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft for members to enjoy sport flying. The club operates its own flight school providing training programs for Private Pilot License (PPL), Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL), and Night Visual Flight Rules (NVFR) rating. Theory courses are usually held in the evenings or weekends, with practical training scheduled individually with experienced instructors. Members benefit from no mandatory duties, an easy online aircraft reservation system with access to important flight documents, and a monthly social meeting with lectures. The aircraft are housed in a modern hangar with an electric turntable, avoiding the need for manual repositioning. The club also runs a fan shop and is active in local aviation events, providing an attractive and practical environment for aviation enthusiasts.
