Brief description Fliegergruppe Mengen E.v.
Fliegergruppe Mengen e.V. is a registered non-profit aviation club based in Mengen, Germany, with around 65 members. The club operates a modern fleet including Cessna 172 SP Skyhawk and Bristell Classic HD and B23 ultralight aircraft, offering pilot training according to the latest European standards.
Training covers 2/4 seat motor aircraft (SEP) including PPL (A) and LAPL (A) licenses and ultralight aircraft pilot license (SPL-UL). Theoretical lessons are available on-site, online, and via distance learning in collaboration with CAT-EUROPE. Practical training includes 45 hours for PPL, 30 hours for LAPL, and 30 hours for ultralight pilot training in cooperation with a local ultralight flight school.
Minimum age for training start is 16 years and 17 years for license acquisition. The club features its own clubhouse and hangar at Regio Airport Mengen with modern facilities. Members benefit from a friendly environment, reasonable conditions, and dedicated volunteer flight instructors.
