Fliegergruppe Mengen e.V. is a non-profit flying club based in Mengen, Germany. The club offers pilot training according to the latest European regulations for 2/4 seat motor aircraft and ultralight aircraft. Training includes licenses such as PPL (A), LAPL (A), and SPL-UL. The theoretical course options include classroom instruction, online meetings, and distance learning in collaboration with CAT-EUROPE. Practical flight training requires 45 hours for PPL, 30 hours for LAPL, and 30 hours for ultralight pilot training in cooperation with the UL Flight School Mengen. The club operates a modern fleet comprising Cessna 172 SP Skyhawk, Bristell Classic HD, and Bristell B23 aircraft. Facilities include a clubhouse with a large 600 sqm hangar at Regio Airport Mengen (EDTM). Membership requires a one-time fee and annual dues, with flexible engagement options for members.
