Flugschule Husum offers a unique Fast Track pilot training program, allowing students to become private pilots within 4 weeks. This compact training method, uncommon in Germany, is ideal for busy individuals or those coming from afar. Students benefit from a dedicated mentor who supports them continuously throughout the training process, ensuring motivation and success. The school operates on the former NATO airfield Husum-Schwesing, featuring a wide asphalt runway (1450 x 30 m) with night lighting, fuel services, and regulated tower hours for efficient flight lessons.
The training includes PPL (A), LAPL (A), theory courses available via distance learning, ICAO language testing, radio communication license coaching (BZF I & II), and safety training exercises such as crosswind landings and emergency procedures. The aircraft fleet comprises modern single-engine aircraft including the Bristell B23 Turbo, Diamond DA40, and Cessna 182. Additional services include SEP rating renewals, proficiency checks, and charter flights.
