FMG-FlightTraining is a professional and modern aviation training organization located at the Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport (EDLP), Germany. Founded in 1992 and approved as an Approved Training Organization (ATO) by the German Federal Aviation Office (LBA), it offers comprehensive pilot training programs including Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), various Instrument Ratings (IR), night flying training (Nachtflug VFR), and flight instructor courses. The fleet consists of nine aircraft, including Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Piper PA-28/181, Piper PA-28/200, and Piper PA-34/220T models, all equipped with unified GPS navigation systems and advanced Garmin digital flight instruments for instrument flight training. A dedicated flight simulator tailored to the fleet is available for both single-engine and multi-engine training in a protected environment. The school owns its aircraft and maintenance facilities directly at the airport, allowing efficient and professional training with minimal downtime. FMG maintains strong partnerships and a network with prominent airlines such as Eurowings, DHL, TUIFLY, SWISS, and Lufthansa City Line, supporting graduates actively in finding suitable airline employment. Student pilots benefit from a central location, professional infrastructure of a commercial airport with controlled radio communication, and affordable living conditions nearby. FMG focuses on both practical and theoretical instruction, preparing students thoroughly for professional aviation careers.
