Motorflugschule Bielefeld is a modern and professional flight school located at Bielefeld Airport, offering around forty years of experience in pilot training. Their programs cater to beginner and experienced private pilots alike and include the Private Pilot License (PPL A), night flight training, check flights, renewals, and international flights. Ground school training covers essential areas such as radio communication and language proficiency exams, along with additional seminars. The training aircraft fleet comprises classic two-seater Cessna 152s, four-seater Cessna 172s, and Piper PA-28 Archers powered by 180-PS engines. Many aircraft are equipped with Garmin avionics for COM/NAV/GPS and some feature autopilot and EFIS displays. Three planes are outfitted for IFR flights including LPV approaches. Maintenance is carried out in an in-house workshop. With nine flight instructors who bring diverse aviation backgrounds and professional standards, the school emphasizes safe and comprehensive pilot education. Affiliation with the Luftsportverein Bielefeld-Gütersloh provides students access to a larger fleet for post-license flying experience through aircraft charter.
