Motorflugschule Bielefeld is a professional flight school located at Bielefeld Airport with approximately forty years of experience. The school offers comprehensive flight training programs for beginner and experienced private pilots, including Private Pilot License (PPL), night flying under Visual Flight Rules (VFR), check flights and renewals, as well as international flights. Ground training includes theoretical lessons in radio communication, language proficiency exams, and various seminars.
The school operates a fleet of aircraft including Cessna 152, Cessna 172, and Piper PA-28 models. These aircraft are equipped with modern avionics such as Garmin GNS430 COM/NAV/GPS systems and some with Garmin G5 or GI-275 EFIS. Several aircraft have autopilots with altitude hold, and three are equipped for IFR flights including LPV approaches. The training emphasizes safe and solid pilot education combining technical knowledge and practical skills.
Membership in the Luftsportverein Bielefeld-Gütersloh e. V. offers students the advantage to charter all club aircraft after obtaining their license. The school is approved as an Approved Training Organization (ATO) by the Münster regional government (DE. NRW. ATO. 202 MS).
