Luxembourg Flight Training Academy

Luxembourg Flight Training Academy (LFTA) is a professional, EASA-approved Flight Training Organisation (ATO LU.ATO.0001) based at Luxembourg International Airport in Luxembourg-Findel. Founded in 2012, it offers comprehensive modular flight training from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) to Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), including advanced ratings like Night VFR, Instrument Ratings (IR, CBIR), Multi Engine Piston (MEP), Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC), and Flight Instructor (FI) courses. LFTA operates a modern fleet of 12 well-equipped single-engine and multi-engine piston aircraft fitted with Garmin avionics, plus advanced flight simulators AL250 and AIRLINER provided by Alsim to enhance practical training. The academy emphasizes personalized instruction by experienced, multilingual instructors, many current or former airline pilots, supporting student career progression in European commercial aviation. LFTA also runs the DIMAS program to introduce aerospace knowledge to secondary schools and maintains strong industry partnerships. Training facilities at Luxembourg International Airport offer real-world experience in busy commercial airspace, emphasizing safety and professional standards.
