Brief description Luxembourg Flight Training Academy

Luxembourg Flight Training Academy (LFTA) is a professional, EASA-approved Flight Training Organisation located at Luxembourg International Airport. Founded in 2012, it offers comprehensive modular flight training from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) to Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). The academy operates a modern fleet of 12 well-maintained single-engine and multi-engine piston aircraft equipped with PBN-capable Garmin avionics. Training is personalized by experienced, multi-lingual instructors, many of whom are active or retired airline pilots. Being situated at a busy commercial airport enhances situational awareness training and real-world experience. LFTA also operates advanced flight simulators, including the Alsim AL250 and AIRLINER devices, to complement pilot training. Key courses include PPL, Night VFR, IR, CBIR, MEP, CPL, ATPL, MCC, and Flight Instructor certifications. Facilities include classrooms, briefing rooms, and flight training devices, supporting high training standards. The academy promotes close cooperation with regional airlines and supports aerospace education in local schools through its DIMAS program.
