
Vereinigung Aktiver Piloten e.V. is a combined aviation club and flight school located at Klausheide airfield near Nordhorn, Germany. Founded in 1980, it operates as a non-profit association dedicated to passionate pilots and flight instructors, many of whom maintain and fly their own historic aircraft. The club focuses on thorough and correct pilot training, making sure students understand what constitutes "proper flying."
Training programs include EASA Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL), Private Pilot Licence (PPL), and Sport Pilot Licence (SPL) for ultralight aircraft. Additional qualifications offered include night flying authorization, tailwheel training, sailplane and banner towing, as well as radio communication licenses (BZF).
Fleet consists of a range of light and ultralight aircraft equipped with modern avionics and safety systems, suitable for beginner training, cross-country flights, aerobatics, and more.
