Brief description Vorarlberger Alpenflieger Club (vafc)
The Vorarlberger Alpenflieger Club (VAFC) is a certified flight school and aviation club based at Hohenems-Dornbirn Airport (ICAO: LOIH) in Austria. Located in Hohenems, the club offers comprehensive pilot training programs including Private Pilot License (PPL-A) according to EASA Part-FCL, with at least 45 flight hours, theory courses, and alpine familiarization flights. The club operates a modern fleet of single-engine aircraft, including Tecnam P 2002 JF, Cessna 172 SP with Garmin G1000, Tecnam P2010, and various Bristell B23 models. VAFC is Austro Control approved with ATO number AT.DTO.363 and provides a full range of flight training including night VFR and license renewals. The club is well suited for pilots interested in alpine and international flying. Maintenance is performed regularly by licensed entities.
