Holding entries

You rarely reach a holding fix on the inbound track. You see the three sectors around the fix, the direct, parallel and offset entries, and how your heading to the fix tells you which one to fly.

What you learn

• Draw the three entry sectors with the 70° line
• Fly a direct, a parallel and an offset entry
• Pick your entry from your heading to the fix
• Mirror the sectors and entries for a left-hand hold
