Autonomous AI controllers for Ground, Tower, Approach, and CTR
Measurable training outcomes with session analytics

Your Simulators Are Silent Where It Matters Most

LearnATC closes that gap. Our ATC module connects to your simulation environment via API - autonomous, context-aware radio communication powered by an AI model trained on ICAO procedures. Real airports, real frequencies, real phraseology. No scripting, no instructor overhead, no custom development required.

What Your Simulation Center Gains

Four reasons why FSTD operators and sim training facilities integrate LearnATC.

Integration

Drop-In Module for Any Simulator

Connect via WebSocket API and your simulator gains a fully autonomous ATC radio environment. Works with Level D full-flight simulators, FNPTs, FTDs, and custom-built FSTDs alike. Send a transmission, receive a contextually accurate ATC response in real time. Your existing motion, visual, and avionics systems stay untouched.

Realism

Real Airport Data, Real Procedures

Every session uses actual airport data: real frequencies, runway designators, local procedures, and airspace classifications. When a trainee tunes to 118.1 MHz at EDDF, they hear Frankfurt Tower - not a generic placeholder. Each frequency has its own distinct TTS voice, creating a multi-speaker environment that closely mirrors a real ATC facility.

Autonomy

Zero Instructor Overhead for Radio

LearnATC's AI controllers handle Ground, Tower, Approach, Departure, and CTR autonomously - with correct ICAO phraseology, readback validation, and safety gating. No instructor needs to voice ATC. Free up skilled personnel for flight handling, CRM, and emergency procedures.

Analytics

Measurable Communication Training

Every transmission is logged with a unique session UUID. Track phraseology accuracy, readback quality, callsign correctness, and condition completion across every session. Export session data for debriefing, competency tracking, or regulatory documentation.

White-Label

Sell It as Your Own Simulator

The whole radio module runs under your brand. License it via API, wrap it into your own product, and offer it to your customers as your own ATC simulator. Our technology, your product.

LearnATC is a supplementary training tool designed to support aviation radio communication practice. It does not replace officially required flight training, instruction, or certification. Organizations deploying LearnATC are responsible for ensuring compliance with their applicable regulatory training requirements.

Ready to Complete the Simulation Experience?

Add a fully autonomous ATC radio module to your simulation suite. No scripted audio, no instructor voicing ATC. Plug in the API and your simulators deliver realistic radio communication training from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything simulation center operators and technical directors typically want to know before starting integration.

Is there API documentation available?
Yes. Once you request API access, you receive comprehensive documentation covering all WebSocket events, REST endpoints, authentication flow, data schemas, and example payloads. We also provide a sandbox environment where you can test every endpoint against live ATC responses before writing a single line of production code. Our engineering team is available for technical walkthroughs throughout integration.
How long does integration typically take?
Most simulation centers complete integration within 1–2 weeks. The first few days are spent testing in the sandbox - sending transmissions, receiving responses, and validating the audio pipeline. The remaining time goes into wiring the API into your simulator's communication layer and configuring scenarios. Complex environments with custom audio routing may take slightly longer, but the API itself is straightforward.
What hardware and software is compatible?
LearnATC is hardware-agnostic. The API communicates over standard WebSocket and HTTP protocols - if your simulator host can open a network connection, it can integrate with LearnATC. This includes Level D full-flight simulators, FNPTs, FTDs, custom-built FSTDs, desktop sim environments, and VR-based systems. The only requirement is network connectivity and the ability to route audio output. We have no dependencies on specific operating systems, sim platforms, or avionics vendors.
