Brief description Austrian Pilots Academy
Austrian Pilots Academy is an EASA and Austro Control certified Approved Training Organisation (ATO) based in Salzburg, Austria. It offers a high-quality theoretical and practical pilot training program without time pressure, emphasizing strict safety standards and fostering a supportive flight community. The academy provides a comprehensive range of pilot training courses from Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL) to Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), including various instrument ratings and specialized trainings such as night rating, aerobatics, upset prevention and recovery training, and alpine training.
The academy operates four approved training locations in Austria and Bavaria, including Salzburg Airport (LOWS) as its home base. Its diverse fleet comprises single-engine piston aircraft, light aircraft, multi-engine aircraft, and gliders.
Experienced flight instructors focus on more than exam preparation by instilling a strong safety mindset and good airmanship for a successful pilot career. Austrian Pilots Academy is a non-profit association linked with Fliegerclub Traunsee and Luftsportverband Salzburg, and partners with Engl Flight Team in Eggenfelden.
