Brief description Fliegerclub Traunsee

Fliegerclub Traunsee is an established aviation club and flight school based at Gmunden Airport (LOLU) in Austria, known as the gateway to the Salzkammergut region. The club offers a diverse and modern fleet of six aircraft, ranging from two-seaters to four-seaters, including models such as the Tecnam P2010 dti Gran lusso, Robin DR 400 Ecoflyer 2.0S, Diamond DV20 Katana, Dynamic WT-9 ultralight, and Scheibe Falke SF 25 motor glider. This variety makes it suitable for beginner pilot training through to advanced IFR and commercial pilot education.

As a founding member of the Austrian Pilots Academy, the club delivers comprehensive pilot training programs covering Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Night VFR, Flight Instructor courses, as well as radiotelephony license training. Theory lessons and simulator training complement the practical flying training. The club fosters a friendly and community-driven atmosphere, organizing events and scenic flights around the scenic Salzkammergut.
