- Theoretical instruction covering air law, navigation, flight radio communication, meteorology, aerodynamics, general aircraft knowledge, technology and pyrotechnic instruction, behavior in special cases, and human performance
- Practical flight training including ground instruction, flight preparation and completion, control effects, horizontal flight, climb, descent, glide, stalls and spins, turns, traffic pattern, side slip, target landings, emergency landing practice, cross-country flights and navigation
