Interessengemeinschaft Flugtechnik e.V. (IGF) is a German aviation organization based in Braunschweig specializing in private pilot training under JAR-FCL regulations. The flight school offers training for licenses including LAPL(A), PPL(A), CVFR, and night flying (Nachtflug). The theoretical instruction covers essential topics such as air law, technology, human performance, meteorology, navigation, aerodynamics, and behavior in special cases. Experienced flight instructors provide practical training and support throughout. Membership in IGF is a prerequisite for training, designed to be cost-effective and flexible to the students' schedules. The aircraft fleet includes models like Cessna 172 TDI, Cessna 150, and Tecnam P2002 JF operating from Braunschweig Airport (EDVE). Radio communication certification in German (BZF2) or English (BZF1) is required for pilot licensing.
