Interessengemeinschaft Flugtechnik e.V. (IGF) is a German aviation association based in Braunschweig offering private pilot training under JAR-FCL regulations. Training includes licenses such as LAPL(A), PPL(A), controlled visual flight rules (CVFR), and night flying (Nachtflug). The comprehensive theoretical instruction covers air law, technology, human performance, meteorology, navigation, aerodynamics, and emergency procedures. Practical flight training is supported by experienced instructors. Membership in IGF is required for training, designed to be affordable and flexible. The aircraft fleet includes the Tecnam P2002 JF, maintained in-house by members who can learn about aircraft systems hands-on. Operations are conducted from Braunschweig Airport (ICAO: EDVE). Radio communication certificates in German (BZF2) or English (BZF1) are mandatory for licensing to ensure proficiency in aviation communication protocols.
