Luftsportclub Niederweser e.V. is an established aviation club operating since 1968 at Flugplatz Hüttenbusch near Worpswede. It features a well-maintained fleet including two motor gliders (Scheibe Falke SF 25 and Super Dimona HK36) and two very light aircraft models (Katana DV20 and Cessna 172H). The club offers cost-effective flying with minute-based billing including fuel costs, focusing strongly on safety and aircraft upkeep. Members participate actively through assigned work duties for airfield and infrastructure maintenance. The club provides pilot training for PPL-A and LAPL-A licenses mainly on motor gliders, complemented by theoretical instruction. Social activities and community atmosphere welcome trial flights and new memberships. Live webcams offer real-time views of the airfield activities for interested visitors.
