The Luftsportclub Niederweser e.V. (LSCN) operates since 1968 at the Hüttenbusch airfield near Worpswede, focusing on motor gliders and light aircraft. The club's fleet includes two motor gliders (Scheibe Falke SF 25 and Super Dimona HK36) and two very light aircraft models Katana DV20 and Cessna 172H. Members benefit from cost-effective flying with minute-based billing including fuel costs, emphasizing safety and well-maintained planes. The club fosters an active community with trial and scenic flights and offers affordable pilot training for the LAPL and PPL licenses, mainly on motor gliders. Practical training is supported by experienced instructors and includes theoretical lessons covering navigation, meteorology, air law, and more. The club does not run its own full flight school but provides related theoretical instruction. Members contribute to club maintenance with required working hours. Contact details and membership information are available for prospective pilots. Live activities at the airfield can be followed via live webcams.
