The Airbus Flugsportgruppe Bremen e.V. is based at Weser-Wümme airfield (ICAO: EDWM) in Hellwege, Germany. It runs an association that offers a family-friendly flying environment and ideal leisure opportunities. The association operates a flight school that provides training for the Private Pilot Licence (PPL(A)) and the Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL(A)) according to European standards as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
The fleet consists mainly of four-seat single-engine piston aircraft, including various Piper PA-28 models and Cessna 172 variants, which are suitable for both training and leisure flights. The flight school places great emphasis on comprehensive pilot training with theoretical instruction and practical flight training, including night VFR and radio licences (BZF I and II).
The airfield has grass runways and is open on weekends and public holidays, with a welcoming cafe on site. Regular events and fly-ins foster community spirit among members and visitors.
