Restricted radiotelephony certificate

The restricted aeronautical radio certificate for VFR pilots in German-speaking countries: BZF in Germany, BFZ in Austria. It covers VFR radiotelephony only. In Germany the BZF I is valid in English and German, the BZF II in German only.

Pilots who want to fly IFR need the AFZ (AZF).
